Dr. Omar Fetouh, known by his patients as “Dr. Omar”, earned his bachelor’s degree at the Cairo School of Medicine, in 2002. He went on to obtain his Master of Science and certificate of Clinical Proficiency in Orthodontics from Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in December 2008. To stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards and trends, Dr. Omar often attends lectures and takes continuing education courses offered by the American Association of Orthodontics. When asked why he chose dentistry as a profession, he says, “After finishing my dental degree and becoming a dentist, I witnessed the positive effect that a beautiful smile has in peoples' lives. This motivated me to go back to dental school for three additional years to become an Orthodontist. As an Orthodontist, my main concern is my patients' well-being and orthodontic care. I am proud of what I do and hope to continue serving the Fort Worth area and making a positive impact on my patients' lives." Dr. Omar was born in the United Kingdom in 1979, and later moved to Cairo, Egypt. He traveled to California for his dental boards, then to Buffalo, New York, for his orthodontic residency, before finally settling down in Texas. He is married to Texas native, Dr. Shelby Sutton, a Pulmonagist at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, where she works in the Intensive Care Unit. They have two children, Mya and Adam. When he’s not working, Dr. Omar enjoys golfing, playing soccer, working out, and traveling.
