Dr. Michael Guthrie believes in providing dental care that meets the individual needs of each of his patients.
Dr. Guthrie earned his Bachelor of Arts in psychology at Stanford University in 1985. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1991 and completed his training, in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Howard University Medical Center in 1996 where he received the outstanding surgical resident award upon completion.
Dr. Guthrie is a member of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. He attends the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology Annual General Anesthesia Conference and Nobelbiocare Implant Continuum for his continuing education. Dr. Guthrie is also active in his community and has Philanthropic Involvement with Make a Wish Foundation and he is a founding member of the Legacy Foundation, which is committed to global world health.
In his free time, Dr. Guthrie enjoys travel, sports, fitness, music, and the arts. And his favorite quote is, “Live each day with purpose and clarity.”
