Dr. Cartwright has been practicing dentistry for over 10 years, and she is originally from Michigan. Growing up Dr. Cartwright knew she always wanted to be a doctor to help others. It was later in her college career where she became passionate about dentistry. She earned her undergraduate degree from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2006. After college, Dr. Cartwright went onto Howard University College of Dentistry to complete her doctorate degree in dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Cartwright chose to pursue more dental training. She enjoyed working with veterans by completing a General Practice Residency at the VA Hospital in Detroit, MI. Upon completion of her residency she moved to Houston, TX to start her dental career. It is important to Dr. Cartwright that her patients get the best dental care and that she is their guide/educator to obtaining optimum oral health. Last but definitely not least, Dr. Cartwright enjoys raising her smart, charismatic, and handsome son. She loves spending time with him, family, and close friends. Also, she loves going to concerts, traveling, movies, and enjoys running.
