After your extractions, you will be given certain post-op instructions by a member of our skilled team. These rules are important to observe to allow for an easy, favorable healing experience. Be sure to take the medications given to you by our dental team exactly as recommended and reach out to our Anderson, SC team promptly if you notice any unusual pain, excessive bleeding, or other problems. Instructions on how to properly care for your mouth as you recuperate will also be provided to you.
POST-TREATMENT APPOINTMENT
We will make a postoperative appointment 1 – 2 weeks following your initial procedure so that our dentists can evaluate your recovery and progress. It may take a few months for the bone tissue to regenerate in the space where your wisdom teeth were located. Our dental team will give you advice on how to best not allow food to collect in these areas to maintain a healthy mouth and minimize the risk of dental concerns.
