Board-qualified periodontist Dr. Abdo Ismail, DDS, began his dental journey in Geneva, Switzerland, earning his DDS from Cairo, Egypt, in 2009. With extensive training, including a residency at Cairo University and a restorative dentistry program at UCLA, he furthered his expertise in treating advanced periodontal diseases and complex full-mouth rehabilitation cases trough a periodontology fellowship and a residency in Periodontics and Dental Implants, and obtaining a master’s degree from the University of Kentucky.
Dr. Ismail’s pioneering research on wound healing techniques earned him a first-place award in the Billy Pennel Competition, and he is actively involved in esteemed dental organizations. Outside of his profession, Dr. Ismail enjoys outdoor activities with his two daughters, including hiking, kayaking, and swimming.
