Dr. Mitchell Murphy believes dentistry is a skill that can be used to make a meaningful difference and chooses dentistry for the ability to connect with people and help in a meaningful way.
“I am passionate about dentistry and look forward to getting to know all my patients. I strive to provide compassionate and comprehensive care and it is my philosophy to treat each person I see in the same manner I would like to be treated,” says Dr. Murphy.
Dr. Murphy earned his Bachelor of Science in biology at University of Texas at San Antonio in 2016. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at UT Health San Antonio College of Dentistry in 2020.
Dr. Murphy served 5 years in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman and spent time in Japan and North Carolina. He is a member of several organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry and Texas Academy of General Dentistry.
In his free time, Dr. Murphy enjoys spending time with his wife, Nancy, and son, Raylan. Together, they all go golfing, bowling, and watch movies. He is also a big football and basketball fan.
