Giselle Cardenas Eitter, D.D.S., M.S.D., is a licensed Endodontist. She earned her D.D.S. degree from Ces University in 2000, and followed this up with a D.D.S., M.S.D., and Postdoctoral in Endodontics from Case Western University in 2007. While attending Ces, Dr. Eitter was the first person from the school selected to establish a student externship program between Ces University and the University of Florida. Upon completion of dental school, she enrolled in the AEGD program at the University of Minnesota, where she concentrated on aesthetic and restorative dentistry as well as the study of TMJ and orofacial pain. After completing her AEGD, she enrolled in the GPR program at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. She stayed an additional year to accept the position of Chief Resident and part-time faculty member. Her hospital-based curriculum focused on all aspects of ambulatory general dentistry for adults and children, hospital in-patients, and general dentistry in an operating room, with an emphasis on the medically, cognitively, and physically challenged patients. Dr. Cardenas Eitter was then accepted into the Post-Doctoral Endodontic Program at Case Western Reserve University, School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. There, she received a Master’s of Science degree in Endodontics (M.S.D) in 2007. After graduating from Case Western, she joined her husband in Alaska where he was serving in the U.S. Air Force as an Emergency Medicine Physician. Since 2012 Dr. Cardenas Eitter has been practicing in San Antonio. She is a quality-oriented clinician with an attention to detail and is highly trained in both surgical and non-surgical Endodontics. She has a particular interest in microscope-based Endodontics as it reflects her passion for precision dentistry. Dr. Eitter is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and San Antonio Dental Society. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, English horseback riding, and spending time with her husband and their three children.
